Dr Pilewicz is a psychologist by vocation, a psychologist with a passion for helping, treating, discovering new possibilities, techniques and methods for mental improvement. For years, she has been writing articles on psychology, bringing knowledge about our mental well-being and combating the stigma that has been causing mental illnesses. Her role model is Dr. Antoni Kępiński, a humanistic psychiatrist, who saw all complexity in patients, including strengths of character, and believed that one could beat the deepest obstacles. Since childhood, she has been fascinated by the human mind and the secrets underlying psychological traumas that lead to mental disorders such as depression, neurosis, eating disorders, personality disorders and psychotic diseases such as schizophrenia. Upon her arrival in the United States, she started the rigor training at Adler University in Chicago, which she completed with a Master's degree, and at Walden University, Minnesota, where she became a PhD in Positive Psychology. |
